I am in awe of the generosity of the folk community. Due to some especially generous anonymous gifts, plus the Getaway collection, Terry, Greg, Kim and Reggie are now within $10,000 of the amount the bridge is estimated to cost, and some benefits are planned. They collected enough for the down payment and construction is scheduled to begin in eight days.
