In Columbus, Ohio Bruce, we DO celebrate it as City of Columbus Day!    See, Columbus is populated by immigrants from Germany, England, Ireland, Scotland, Italy, Scandinavia, Africa, and West Virginia.   After years of living in Columbus they are all virtually indistinguishable, have an average collective IQ of 47 and will all answer to "Hey you Hilljack Motherfucker."

This year's celebration includes a Budweiser Beerfest where a gigantic paper mache turkey representing the NCAA will be burned in effigy and a candlelight vigil will follow evening vespers at the grave of Woody Hayes.
