Beating myself up yet again this Autumn - beautiful nerines in flower in everyone's garden but ours! Keep forgetting that you plant the bulbs in SPRING, but when Spring comes, I forget.
Have managed however to put in loads of copper and orange-coloured selections of tulip bulbs, and the elegant white Thalia daffodils. Should look quite nice together.
Have stuck bubble wrap onto the lower part of our sitting room window. Hope this helps to keep the heat in.
Husband has promised to repaint the fascia boards before the winter arrives, but he was nearly blown off his ladder, so I made him stop!
Thrilled to see Hallowe'en things in Tesco's. Bought a small box of 'treats' for the village children when they come. Must remember to get a pumpkin later for the front step.
Actually, can't be too grumpy about the change of season, there are lots of delights in Autumn!
