Shane tried to read the entirety Rapparee's last post so he could compose an insulting reply to it, but he couldn't get through it. He kept muttering "Flip ME!" under his breath, working his way painfully from one word to the next, tracing the letters of each word with his index finger...then finally froze in place, staring at the screen with his mouth hanging open and his eyes glazed. Don found him there around 11:30 this morning and was unable to get any kind of response from him. It appears that his brain may have fused or something like that. He didn't even respond to an offer of a cold beer! Don has wheeled him out into the backyard in a wheelbarrow in hopes that fresh air and sun may revive him, and is planning to call the paramedics or perhaps Officer Dana if the boy still hasn't regained consciousness by 5 pm.
