He does always put on a good show.

Another time when he was at Strawberry for a Spring festival ,the on-stage temperature was 32 degrees F. He was bundled up like a kid in a snow suit. His breath was solid steam. But a lot of the steam came from his hands, becuse he was pickin as fast and clean as he always does.

He also gave a workshop where he didn't play a single note. All he did was talk and answer questions. I have a tape of it and it is a great instructional tape.
