Here's the deal... Millions of Americans are part of the working poor... Many are women who have been abandoned by their husbands and left to fend for themselves and the husband's kids and with Welfare Reform of '96 that means having to take minimum wage jobs...

Do the math... $7.25 and hour and now we're going to take 18% (9-9) out of what they now make... So we're back to the minimum wage lower than at any time (after inflation) ever??? This will create tens of millions of more people living in poverty...
