I've been in the SCA, to a greater or lesser extent since 1979. Troll, are you Lord Ian MacIan from Ostgard? My sympathies, Clinton Hammond, I have a similar problem around here. Maybe it's endemic in Midrealm and formerly Midrealm groups. I always thought that the SCA was where science fiction fanatics joined, on the deluded assumption that they were getting a life. Actually, regarding folkies and SCAdians, I've always found the SCAdians to be rather dull and predictable in comparison.
