You can stop CD's in the middle of a song - what do you think the pause button is for?!! To continue playing, press the pause button again!

Use the >> key to audibly scan through (most cassettes can't!) or << to scan back.

If your CD player hasn't got these functions, perhaps you've lost the remote control?!!
