I well remember the Grass Roots, it moved location a few times, The Royal Oak, Plummet Line, Upper George and the Crown in Horton Street, the Royal Oak was by far the best venue but as always on changing ownership, the new landlord didn't want a folk club.

Richard Collins went to Australia [ same time as a few more, Derek Scott and Jacquie Fraser ] last I heard he was working as a TV producer.
