If you restrict the relationship partner to only dance the way you choose it might make the potential partner resentful later on.   Dancing is only an expression after all and there must be something about this person that makes you want to make it more permanent. It would be a shame to ruin a friendship over this. As long as they have the same understanding about anything that you enjoy then it shouldn't be a problem.
