Some of you may know that Fay Hield & co. have put together a "singing weekend" of workshops and concerts to take place this weekend, 21-23 Oct, in the Sheffield area.

It costs £80 and the stellar staff includes Martin Carthy, Roy Bailey, Dave Webber & Anni Fentiman, Jon Boden, Fay, Nancy Kerr, Gavin Davenport, Hannah James and more.

I have signed up (and paid for) a place on this weekend, and have really been looking forward to it, but have (sadly) realised tonight that I simply am not well enough to attend.

So... is there anyone out there who would be interested in taking my place at this late notice? (Ideally, I'd hope for someone willing to share at least some of the £80 fee, but that's negotiable at this point.)

There were singing sessions this (Fri) evening; "courses" start at 10 a.m. tomorrow (I am signed up to start off with "Developing Personal Style" with Cath Tyler.)
