Of a sailing ship a young man, he once sailed upon

Comes an anxious heart wail like the loud waves that roar

For he once sailed the waves of this raging sea

And the lighthouse still stands where his vessel hit land
As the early dawn tells of his tale

No man aboard and all were thought to be drowned
Maggie came down to the wreck they had found
