Subject: RE: Folk Legacy Turns 50
I have many happy memories of the Folk Legacy gang over the years that I have been coming to the USA to sing. I met Sandy and Caroline on my first trip, at a Pinewoods Spring Weekend, and was bowled over by their warm and friendly manner and interest in my songs. Another time I happened to be available to go on a Folk Legacy Festival, and had a great time. More recently I brought my son over for his first USA visit during which we attended Sandy's Memorial Day,an occasion that was sad and joyous at the same time. I've also ben lucky enough to meet several Folk Legacy artists, truly a Golden Ring, and I send my greetings to them, and to the widow of the late Rick Fielding, whom I knew for all too short a time. To me Folk Legacy embody all that is good in the folk music world. Long may they reign!
Caroline darlin'Roy & Elaine Haris send their very best wishes to you and yours.
