One of the many reasons my wife loves me is that I'd much rather see a "chick flick" with a storyline and some emotion than a "guy flick" with car chases and explosions.

"Mamma Mia" is a fun piece of fluff. I loved it mostly for the spectacular Greek island scenery. Meryl Streep is great whatever she does; Amanda Seyfried not so much, but she is cute. And I found myself a lot more tolerant of ABBA's bubblegum music than I was when it was new.
