Lisa, thanks for your post.It was so nice chatting with you Saturday am! I'm glad you & Caroline had good time together, in spite of the weather, etc. Last we heard from Caroline, she was headed over to Sharon Audubon, where they have a generator, so we assume she is safe & warm. Considering the conditions we saw in Litchfield County, when we were trying to get home, it's not surprising we can't reach her. There were telephone & power lines down all over the place, as well as trees/branches blocking at least half of the road in many places. It's going to take some time to put that to rights. Although we have power at my house, the nearby school district where I worked doesn't. School was out today & will be, at least, for tomorrow, as well. That takes two of their five scheduled snow days, in October! Duane had a cell phone number for one of David's daughters & has left a message & asked for information on Caroline, so, hopefully, we'll hear soon.
