Some Mudcatters may remember that I have quite frequently mentioned Buddy Tabor, Juneau's pre-eminent musician. Buddy has fans from all across Alaska and in many communities in the west. He is a prolific songwriter coming up with meaty lyrics and subjects that to his fans are second to few. In addition, he is an interesting, sensitive person I am proud to call friend.

Now Buddy has cancers-several of them. They have not yet isolated the originating cancer but they know of several attacked sites. He has spent the last few weeks in Anchorage, Alaska undergoing radiation aimed at stopping and eradicating the cancerous lesions on his spine.

Tonight he is returning to Juneau where he will immediately begin chemotherapy.

On the phone last night I asked him if he'd mind if I got the Mudcat Mojo to work for him and he said, "Go for it. I'm not shy."

So, how about it? We've all seen marvelous outcomes here- can we do it again? Buddy needs help.
