My all time favourite dulcimer album is Times and Traditions for Dulcimer (1976) by the late, great Roger Nicholson with Jake Walton (dulcimers, lute guitar and a sweet-as-a-nut trompette-less symphony style hurdy-gurdy) and Andrew Cronshaw (chord harp and penny whistle) all masterfully captured by Bill Leader in one of the finest folk-productions you'll ever hear.

Other Roger Nicholson stuff is fine too, of course...
