I am not sure at all about the origin of the bridge on this guitar,but I can see no evidence of it not being original.So most of these J40s have pegs? At any rate,I gather that this is called a Thread-through bridge. I have not been around electric guitars during re-stringing.I have put strings on a Gibson J 200 and a Martin D 28,but this has no pegs.I am not a chap,so not all that handy. So will a decent acoustic fellow at a music store likely be able to handle this without damage?
