All sounded fine on my TV through the Home Cinema system, Bob. Maybe it's something to do with the way the sound is 'engineered' - possibly to suit one type of setup, but which makes it less suitable for another (a bit like the way films and music sound great through my HCS, but speech programmes are better direct through the telly's own little speakers)?

All too tecknickle for me!   :-)
