Subject: RE: Favorite Fall Songs
My gawd what a long tread. I didn't realize there were so many fall songs. The one by Greg Brown ( about his grandma's preserves) is called"Canned Goods" and he often accompany's it with a delightful story about holidays at her farm. My current favorite Fall song; "Yankee Lady" by Jesse Winchester, fits in the urge for goin' catagory. Verse 3 goes:

An Autum walk on a country road, and a million flaming trees I was feeling uneasy, cause there was winter in the breeze And she said "Oh Jesse look over there, the birds are southward bound Oh Jesse, I'm so afraid to lose this love we've found".

You probably know the rest. A great Fall to you all. marshman
