I have done contract work in the Government of Canada. I know they work hard. But I still laugh at the jokes. I was in University in a Business school, During the Reagan/Mulrooney/Thatcher years. I saw seeds being planted then that grew into an orchard that is just now fully producing.

The practical part of my brain tells me we are fucked. By definition, good sense and practical considerations will never have the marketing budget that commercial interests have. But we have to keep resisting the tide.
