There have been vets from every war who have spoken out about the 'wrongness' of the whole war or aspects of it. No surprise. What has changed is the public availability of what they said and why they said it.

Media used to express ideas and report news; now, it expresses corporate ideas and corporate-approved news. The one part of media that doesn't speak only for corporate interests today is the internet.

Mike Prysner has been arrested for anti-war protest. He has been maligned by politically right-leaning blogs and right-leaning people, some of whom are no doubt paid to 'bring him down'. But the problem with ideas is that once they're out there, they're kinda hard to put back in the bottle or the box.

IMO
