Like a few of you, I've been searching for years for this song from the W T Grants album, each year as I design a float for a holiday parade, and each year without success. But as if there were Divine Intervention on something so trivial, this year our float has special meaning and a purpose beyond holiday entertainment, and I found both a "clean" recording on Youtube AND the lyrics here. It is difficult for me to listen without tearing up a little. Perhaps part for my yesteryears, and part for the beautiful story told by the song.
