Just found this.
The memories I have of the Anvil were Robin Parker having his name in Goblin language on his fretboard, Brian leaving to go to London and receiving a book on Dali, and Radio Solent coming along to record us one night.
There were also clubs briefly at the Centre Hotel, Southampton and at the Ordnance Survey's U25 Club.
The OS also had Mike Seeger in their Restaurant. Ted Duckett played that evening.
