Dave and Anni were WONDERFUL in Portland. They sang and we sang and filled the Grace Memorial sanctuary with our sound. At the end of several chorus songs, they would start the chorus, and then stop singing, leaving us to sing it to them as they stood arm in arm, beaming at us, as we returned the harmonies. It was such a delight.
YOu Maine folks, round up all your a capella chorus people and sing along; as Dave said, "I don't know why they call it a 'refrain', because that's the opposite of what we want you to do.
And be sure and tell all his UK friends that he performed wearing pants, suspenders and a vest. He said if we did that, he might get some different kinds of gigs.
