Here we all are waiting for service or repair folks. It's too early to call my heating guy, but after 8 or 9 I'll try. Andrea, I'm sure your place will be so worth the wait when they all finished! This reminds me that I haven't seen new photos of my sister's new basement. They dug through concrete in specific places and put in new lower footers and support members then dug out all of rest of the concrete and lowered the dirt and poured a new floor. This was meant initially because she had to put in a new sewer line, but it also worked to get rid of the squeak in the floor above and to give six more inches headspace in the basement.

A care package full of banana bread is packed and ready for the post office this morning, and I'll drop it off on my way to an appointment.
