A real shock to hear the news about Johnny. He stayed with us in August 2009 when performing at Saltburn Folk Festival. What a tremendous voice and great entertainer. We really enjoyed having him to stay, he was so easy to have around and made himself at home. Gave Chris some helpful hints on guitar playing, insisted on doing some washing up, and stayed an extra night before going up to he Marymass Festival in Scotland.
