""we had all this out in previous years threads...."

Indeed we did, pfr - what a shame attitudes haven't changed. I'm increasingly disillusioned with a folk scene that, apart from a few beacons of enlightenment, seems increasingly like an interminable episode of One Foot in the Grave, without the humour.

Why can't the folk scene be more like the community drama group that my 12-year old goes to, where people from a wide range of age groups, backgrounds and abilities can come together to put on a production of Les Miserables and all have a whale of a time doing it? No wonder so many folk clubs are having a tough time if attitudes like some of the above prevail - and thank goodness for the wonderful, joyous all-inclusicve festivals like Moonbeams Wold Top.
