Of course, I love split pea soup. There's this place up in Huntsville that makes really good pea & bacon soup, it also has the world's best - well, maybe not the absolute best, but pretty d*mn good - fries and gravy. Oh, it is SOOOOO good!

Has anyone else had spanakopita? I hope I remembered how to spell it. It's spinach and cheese wrapped in this gorgeous pastry. You can get it at Kensignton Bakery in Toronto, if it's still around. (I haven't been there in about 5 years or so.)
