The lyrics above were written by Woody Guthrie, who had more than a few winners. He undoubtedly wrote a lot that weren't, some of which maybe just hadn't found their time yet. "This Land is Your Land" is certainly significant, and might very well be considered the theme song of the OWS movement. ESPECIALLY the two verses many people and songbooks leave out.
