I have a big pot of my tomato and eggplant sauce simmering right now (Lidia's of Italy has the recipe - simmered summer sauce I think she calls it.) These tomatoes were pulled off the vine after our frost so I can't can them, I'll have to freeze this sauce. I'll cool it overnight in the fridge and pick up some plastic freezer containers tomorrow. I hoped to get some of the take out containers from my ex, but he recycled the last batch.

The big event at work we're preparing for is the Friends of the Library meeting on Friday. I got them to book Jed Marum this year, and I hope he knocks their socks off! :)
