I don't know. I would say that you are not a folksinger unless you are influenced by a very wide array of styles including punk, heavy metal, rap and reggae. Of course train and cowboy songs and life from the past are all a part of the folk process too. I doubt that many other folksingers would agree with me but then they are not real folksingers, Ha!
