I have a couple of huge pots that I use for processing jelly and things like tomatoes and peaches. We just refer to them as canning pots.

I forgot to mention that I went for two walks yesterday evening, taking them one at a time. They hadn't been out much this week so I figured I'd give them each a treat. One-on-one they're much better - I walked past numerous cats and no one barked her head off at them. Together they set each other off in a ruckus.

Laundry drying, dishwasher running (I usually only drain clean dishes in it, but once a month I try to run it to keep it going and from stale water settling in it.

Jed Marum is singing for the Friends of the Library program tonight - I'm really looking forward to this! My anti-procrastination exercises from last summer are helpful today - reminding myself that being early is better than being late and making sure I give enough time for all of the parts of getting ready. Dressing myself, picking up Susie, getting to my boss's house (she has a sprained ankle and had the week off from work) to pick her up, being at the library in time to help Jed set up. And then sitting back and watching it all unfold!
