The only recording of "My Old Man" (written by Jean Boudin and Paul Kent in 1947) that I know of, Rita, is on the Bear Family "Songs of Political Action set of 10 CDs which comes from Germany. Katie could do half a dozen one-hour radio shows drawing from that set alone! I learned the song from Walt Robertson out in Seattle, but I see it's included in one of the early SING OUT! reprints.

This, by the way, is not the song by Ewan MacColl which has the same title, nor is it the one I've seen listed on some of the folk radio playlists recently.

May I suggest Rick Fielding's "Pitman Blues," "Company Town," and "Voices of Struggle." This last song is the one Big Mick used to open the workshop. All three of these songs are on Rick's Folk-Legacy recording, titled Lifeline (CD-123).
