I remember a spate of concrete being thrown from bridges in the 70s. At the time rightly so it was acknowledged that this was a despicable cowardly act of vandalism. There is no excuse for this and whoever is found doing something like this should be locked up for a very long time. The police now should do more and patrol all motorway bridges to prevent anything like this happens again.
