I have always had a sneaky feeling that any wooden instrument has feelings. They are made from wood that was once alive, after all. Certainly they 'learn' how you play so it is often difficult when you try or buy a 2nd hand guitar to get it out of its old habits! However, I find that if I have the other guitars in the same room when I am playing one of the others, the sound resonates with all of them and that seems to keep them happy. I know when I have offended one because it just won't stay in tune!

....but using the BC Rich's strap on a newbie....oh dear! There'll be trouble!
