PS - and if the Senate and House bills about military trial do get combined and signed into law (although Obama has said he will refuse to do so) then McKinnon would, all the time he is on US soil, be at risk of being seized into military custody for a military trial in which he would have at best limited rights.

And all the time he was detained, would he be assured of going free from harm?
