The Republicans aren't the least interested in fiscal policy. Their ONLY goal is to "maximize system failures" until election time (hoping nobody will remember thaat they caused most of the current problems) , and of course blame it all on "the President," in the hope that they'll win big on the idiot vote.
A person who puts personal gain ahead of what's good for the people is an abomination, but those who put the party first - ahead of all else - are somewhat lower on my scale.
