I'm gonna vent, all right.

This morning I was at the Elks Lodge for coffee. The last people out were myself and Tim. Tim's in his 80s and recently had hip replacements -- and he's got balance problems. He got outside the building fine, but as we were walking toward his car (something told me to stick with him) he fell. I tried to catch him or at least break his fall, which I succeeded in doing. I guided him to his car and swore that he'd be using the walker he had in the backseat from here on out.

I just returned from the orthopod's office. Tomorrow at 0615 I have an MRI scheduled to see if the distal bicep ligament in my right arm has been torn away, and if so I will have surgery on the 14th.

I must admit that I have been experiencing quite a bit of pain....
