There is an easy way after the initial set up. I just recorded a program broadcast on the Arkansas State Univ. station. I located the station, opened Audacity, clicked on record and turned it off when done. I did have to amplify the sound. I generally have a problem with volume when recording from the internet. Which may well be because I do not have much knowledge or skill in using recording software. But Audacity provides an amplification tool which seems to work pretty well to my ear.

Sue if you have Audacity or other sound editing software you might be able to adjust the sound with the mixing program.
