A Tucson friend, bass player Jerry Weinert, played with them at some point. He DJed the early morning bluegrass show on WYSO in the early '80s.

WYSO was on the campus of Antioch College, in Yellow Springs. I was a student there, and hated waking to bluegrass in the morning. My boyfriend did the weekly folk show the quarter that we both started there, and introduced me to a lot of good stuff.

Jerry now plays with the Privy Tippers.
