This proof emperically says to me that c is constant. That is, that c is not dependent upon the observer. IF the challenge addresses the observers' perception, I initially find it emperically incorrect... what if I am travelling at c - 1 and you are stationary? Would our perceptions not differ? Or is there a point of reference for each observer upon which to judge c?
Having stated and asked those, I really don't give two shits from Tuesday although I do enjoy The Big Bang Theory TV sitcom. I'd rather watch a light-hearted comedy ABOUT physics than take physics.
