It's taken a long time, but I finally have some new mp3's up on my mp3.com site, www.mp3.com/BillCameron. I've uploaded three, one of which is my new song "511 Highway", the origin of which is described in this old thread: Rick's Old Lowden...For some reason that one has not been posted yet (at least not as of an hour ago); the two that have are both more or less familiar: Rocky Road to Dublin and Wha'll Be King But Charlie.
So have a listen if you please. And if you want to do me an additional favour, listen to or download my tune "The Long Walk Home" which is somewheres on the mp3.com charts since Nicole Leonard of the band Lothlorien was kind enough to post it in a very prominent spot on her (internet-famous) band's mp3.com Station. It's got some great playing by my buddies James Stephens (violin) and Duncan Gillis (whistle).
I played "511 Highway" when I opened for Archie Fisher last week, a thrill I shall describe more when I get the chance.
As usual, gotta run. Number one offspring's rehearsing, Gilbert & Sullivan this time, and I have to pick her up in town.
Best, Willie-O
