I haven't had much time lately to keep in touch with the folks who've touched our lives,
But I really felt the need to take the time thank you all for your kind words & support you've shown to Shalisa & me.

Shalisa's hanging in as best as she can,though we've been through a few seizures lately & the increased antisezure medication raises her fatigue level.
She had another round of tests recently & although she's been tested before, results now show a positive for Lyme disease.
Lyme is still very much a mystery to the medical community,& although we may never know if L.D. is the root cause of her problems,this is at least something that we can start to treat with medication.
We're headed to Philadelphia again tomorrow to get the antibiotic procedure started.
This will require a daily IV drip over what may be a long period of time.

I'm cautious about getting overly optomistic at this time,but I'm hoping we'll see some kind of improvement in Shalisa's condition.
