My mother now in her late eighties recited this to me over 20 years ago and it stuck in my mind - but with a different last line to most of the other offerings:

Oh Jemima, look at uncle Jim!
He's in the duck pond, going for a swim.
First he's doing backstroke, now he's doing side,
Now he's out and running about, to get his trousers dried.
