Unfortunately, Cathy, there's a good chance that the program that tells you that you have a worm, is the worm itself.
The most recent version of Norton Internet Security has a popup that tells me when it's zapping something. Unfortunately, the popup looks a lot like a worm we had on a computer at work, so the Norton popup is a bit distressing - at least I hope it's a Norton popup.
