I'm not sure I'm going to make cookies this Christmas. We had planned to bake cookies and share them with neighbors but have since decided against it. By this point in time people are all cookied out. I know that no one in this house needs any cookies. Next year we will be baking for sure as Jeremiah will be big enough to participate in the fun but for this year, I think it's a no. What we are going to do is bake some homemade bread after Christmas and deliver that to neighbors. :)

It's not that I'm not in the mood for Christmas, it's that I have been really stressing about the results of the check up I recently had. Once I knew the results, my body said OK....NOW you can collapse and so I have. Lots of early bedtimes and sleeping in. :) A gift from my husband!

We have a small tree that we used last year and may decide to do that again tonight. We'll see. I also have a few ornaments out: One I purchased from the local hospice as a remembrance for my uncle, a sparkling snowflake from my WW leader and a hand painted ovarian cancer ornament made by a complete stranger who gave it to me in thanks for all I do with the Relay For life.

Like I said, I'm not too worried about it.   My family is together and healthy and that's the best gift ever!
