Have a great day, everyone, and don't worry about decluttering except maybe to try to knock off the dishes before bedtime so the kitchen looks usable in the morning! That's my only goal, anyway, a gift to my future self, so to speak.

We did, and Hardi did that kitchen trick! We made a huge beef roast and a big batch of spinach potatoes (greek yogurt instead of sour cream), a shrimp dip (greek yogurt instead of sour cream and lite mayo), and young eggplant marinated in garlicky olive oil. We managed not to overflow our trash cans with paper, enjoyed a new tradition (re-review of all cards received cuz we don't each see each others' till The Day), and the best gift I got was the handweights-rack I wanted which Hardi put together before bed!
