When I moved to Oxford in 1980 Len and Barbara took me and my wife under their wings, they were kindness personified, encouraged everyone they met and offered friendship. On one occasion in particular my mother and father visited during Lamb Ale and Dad was amazed by the singing,led by Len, in the Oxford Arms. Happy memories of this lovely couple, my sincere condolescences to Barabara, Bob and Gill.
