News of this just reached me and my community in Chicago. There is a whole lotta mournin' goin' on and the tears are flowin' freely, as is the booze. I realize it's a bit early in the day to be drinkin', but this is a special and tragic occasion.

Although there was a few different chimps that played the part over the years, this one that just died at the age of 80 was definitely the original Cheetah who starred opposite Weismuller and Maureen O'Sullivan. He will be sorely missed.
